BIRTHDAY FUN

Michael and Rachel's birthdays are exactly a week apart.  We had a hard time getting together to celebrate this year because of work schedules, but we finally all got together.

On Rachel's birthday, she and I spent the entire day together.  We had a blast!  We went to The Puffy Muffin for lunch.  They have great food and desserts galore!

This is the cupcake they brought her for her birthday.

We did some shopping and after that went to Lowe's to get her some flowers and vegetable plants for her garden.  I thought these tulips were so pretty!

This is what she bought.  She got tomato plants, green and red bell pepper plants, yellow and zucchini squash plants and cucumber plants.  Josh built her a great raised garden bed.  In fact, she has a blog as well, and you can visit it HERE:

We went out with Josh's parents and his sister and her boyfriend to Puckett's downtown the next night to celebrate Rachel's birthday.  It was the first time we had been there, and we really liked it.  We had fried green beans as an appetizer which were fantastic.  It's amazing how they have taken all these healthy foods (mushrooms, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, etc.) and made them so deliciously unhealthy!!  This is Rachel and Sarah, Josh's sister.

The lighting was not good when I took this picture, but it is the only one I had of Rachel and Josh together.

On Michael's birthday, he chose Outback.  All the men in our family love steaks, so they usually pick Outback on their birthdays.

This is what they brought Michael for his birthday.  I LOVE the chocolate syrup they put on their ice cream!  It is different from any other I've ever had.

We had a great time celebrating their birthdays.  It doesn't matter how old your children get, they are still your babies.   Happy Birthday, Michael and Rachel!
