BENTLEY AND KOBE

I stayed overnight with Rachel on Tuesday night.  Terry was out of town, and Josh was staying at the firehall.  I took Bentley with me so he could play with Kobe.  They used to fight all the time, but they are doing better.

I brought them both one of Binkley's favorite treats called a Dingo.  It's a little rawhide bone with meat flavor.  Bentley uses chews on one for a couple of days.  Not Kobe.  He gobbled the entire thing in a couple of minutes.  Then he wanted Bentley's.  He actually got it one time, and Rachel took it from him and got on to him really bad.  She told me to look at him, and he was crying!  A tear actually fell onto the couch, and the sides of his face were totally wet.

He still didn't give up, though. He sat beside Bentley but facing forward, and every now and then he would cut his eyes over toward Bentley without turning his head. It was SO funny!

He finally gave it up, though.  He is always hilarious.  He is so smart and has such a cute personality.

Rachel and I worked out together.  She does a different routinethan I do, and she had me going for a solid hour!  It wore me out, but I loved it.  We have a great time hanging out!!

BELLSHIRE ASSEMBLY

Yesterday we went to Bellshire Assembly.  I love the praise and worship there.  We sang this song:

I'm giving you my heart, and all that is within
I lay it all down for the sake of my King
I'm giving you my dreams, I'm laying down my rights
I'm giving up my pride for the promise of new life.

And I surrender all to You, all to You
And I surrender all to You, all to You.

I'm singing You this song, I'm waiting at the cross
And all the world holds dear, I count it all as loss
For the sake of knowing You, for the glory of Your name
To know the lasting joy even sharing in Your pain

And I surrender all to You, all to You
And I surrender all to You, all to You.

Bro. Driver who started the church preached.  He talked about how our natural mind constantly fights against God's way.  That's why it is so important that we "die daily" to ourselves.  If we don't do this daily, our natural mind will rule us, and we will wonder why we are always failing God.  God renews our mind, but we must surrender the natural man to Him daily.

I really needed that reminder  Sometimes I start out the day running and don't take the time to surrender my will and my mind to God, and at the end of the day I am so frustrated with myself.  We can't think like the world thinks; we must have the mind of Christ.  At the end of every day, I want to know that I have given God my best...my all.

HOMEMADE PIZZA

I made homemade pizza tonight. We never go out to eat pizza. I prefer to make my own.
I prefer a veggie pizza.  I saute my vegetables in an iron skillet first.

But my meat-lover husband likes meat.  So I threw on a little ham and added some turkey pepperoni (shh...he doesn't know the difference!!)

Add a little parmesan cheese and....yummy!!

Campmeeting Time!

We had our first District campmeeting at Scott Dobbins' church.  Martha Tennison was the speaker and, wow, were we blessed by her ministry!!

I love to hear her talk about all the miracles God has done for them over the years.  God is no respecter of persons.  He will do the same for all of us.

We had great altar services as well.

I only took my camera the last night of the campmeeting, and David and Jonna Jenkins and a lady from their praise team led worship.  They did a fantastic job!  Scott Dobbins and Johnny Minick and his group led the other two nights.  We are blessed with anointed and  talented singers in the Tennessee District!

There is nothing like the presence of God and getting refreshed from the Lord!!

Sis. Jackson was there every night.  I love her, and we miss Bro. Jackson so much.  He would have loved the campmeeting!!

I was so happy to see so many of our local pastors there

It was a great campmeeting.  I am sure this is going to be something we do every year.  I hope so!!

We went on a cruise to Key West and the Bahamas. We went along with Larry and Jana Hinson who were part of a gospel singing convention that was held on the boat. Tony and Debbie Thompson went as well. We had a blast!

We enjoyed the casual dining just as much.

They had a great stir fry place.  This was one of my favorites.

Having fun at dinner!!

This is the first thing we saw as we walked off of the ramp in Nassau, Bahamas.  Gorgeous!!

There were quite a few groups there, but the Hinsons were the favorites.

Larry is getting excited!!

It wasn't just entertainment.  We had true worship during the singings!

Reba Rambo and her husband and daughter also sang.  Here they are singing with the Hinsons.

Reba sings like her mom, Dottie, used to sing...very anointed!

River of Life Outreach Pastor Installation

Terry and I were honored to participate in officially installing Adam Tvedt as Pastor at River of Life Outreach in Seymour.

The Tvedt Family
Adam, Melissa, Adison and Abi

Terry called all the people up to pray over their pastor.

The church presented them with a basket of goodies (some quite amusing!)

We are so excited about the great job Adam and Melissa have already been doing for the past several of months at River of Life Outreach.  I know God has great things in store for them!
